I am Melissa, 18 years old and severely-profoundly deaf in both ears due to oxotoxic drugs damaging my hearing after being born premature. I'v been aided since i was 14 months old and I received my CI in my left ear at ten years old. I continue to wear my hearing aid on my right ear.
